Your Anxiety Disorder Is NOT Your Fault, It May Be A Result Of Narcissistic Abuse

Some psychology theories in the medical world say anxiety may be a result of narcissistic abuse. Or, clearly said, if you are suffering from anxiety, it is not your fault.

One person, a teacher shares a story about their life with foster sisters and brothers. Most of their siblings grew up in unhealthy homes. Although it was not their choice to live in that type of home, their trauma manifested in anxiety.

Psychologists say that any mental or emotional abuse may have long-term effects on people’s mental or emotional health. This happens mostly when the trauma happens in childhood, and when a person is told they are the problem.

So, when no matter what is going the blame is on you, it is a narcissistic treatment. And, when there are no normal and rational ways of response, that results in long-term health problems.

Furthermore, psychologists say that anxiety disorders are a normal consequence of such emotional abuse.

During their life, the teacher with foster siblings recognized every anxiety disorder. When they encountered the parents, it was clear why those kids had an anxiety disorder. Usually, one of the parents was emotionally abusive and narcissistic.

Seeing the behaviors while growing up with foster siblings helped them identify the same behaviors in their parents. Narcissists are great at presenting themselves as remarkable citizens.

And, when you catch them in bad behavior, they are great at smooth-talking, and they will find a way to get out of trouble. Also, they may even make you feel like you have done something wrong.

Children may be aware that there is something wrong, but they feel stuck and do not know how to get out of that cycle. All of those claims that narcissists seem maddening and irrational.

Only being educated about abusers and toxic personalities may help them get out of that cycle. Sadly, narcissists look for people who are empathetic, and compassionate and believe that their abusers are good.

In addition, according to Doctor Files, a hostile and socially unhealthy environment causes brain development problems, usually impaired.

It has been revealed that early childhood physical abuse or witnessing domestic violence leads to abnormal physical changes in kids’ brains. So, the children are likely to develop psychological disorders.
