How to Help Someone With Anxiety Attacks

Anxiety comes in different levels, and every person deals with it in their own way. It is difficult for many people to understand what an anxious person goes through every day. They often confuse nervousness with anxiety.

They think that the anxiety will simply go away in time. But, that is not true. When someone is having anxiety attacks, they will need a full day to recover from it. Also, there are different types of anxiety.

1. Know Their Triggers

Socially anxious people can’t deal with judgmental and pushy people. Being surrounded by such people makes them incredibly negative. So, to get out of a certain situation, anxious people may use safe worlds or actions to show you they need help.

For example, they may give you a sign, grab your hand, shoulder, elbow, or say to the person bothering them ‘’Do you need something from me?’’. If you recognize the signs, you can get them out of this particular situation fast.

7. Be Friendly With Them

Socially anxious people want to have a true friend. They like to go to meals with the people they care about. So, it is a good idea to be nice to them and take it slowly. Don’t just ask them countless questions.
